Join us for a full day of fun, wine tasting and beer drinking with great music while supporting your local community. The Sherman Oaks Street Fair is located on Ventura Boulevard between Van Nuys and Kester and runs from 10 am - 6 pm. The Sherman Oaks Street Fair is the largest community event in San Fernando Valley, drawing some 80,000 people. Since 1991 The Sherman Oaks Street Fair has generated more then $400,000 for local public schools. There will be approximately 200 booths stuffed with food, arts & crafts, gift wares (and wine to taste!) from around the world. There are two stages for live entertainment, a beer & wine garden and a "kid zone" with carnival rides and games. If you missed the Car Show last year, you're in luck. It's back and better than ever. The Beer & Wine Garden will serve icy cold beers to quench your thirst as well as a variety of delicious wines along with international wine experts from Savant Wine to satisfy your curiosity and taste buds.

The spiders are back! Hundreds of them -- and they're not in terrariums, and there's no glass separating them from you. Enter the walk-through Spider Pavilion at your own risk and see golden-silk spiders, the black-and-yellow garden spider and many other fascinating orb-weavers. Spider experts will tell you all about how they trap food and spin webs and write words like "radiant" in them. Maybe not that last part. Nighttime flashlight tours are also planned.
